This document contains the Privacy Policy for Symphonical AS (hereinafter "Symphonical"). The Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by Symphonical; symphonical.com and Symphonical.

Your privacy is important to us, and we aspire to offer the best features for the protection of privacy and data protection within our systems and services. Our aim is to safeguard your right to privacy and data protection in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. By privacy we understand the right to a private life and protection of personal integrity. Regulation regarding data protection aims at safeguarding processing of information, hereunder information security and ensuring that personal data are of adequate quality. As Symphonical is a Norwegian company subject to Norwegian laws and regulations, our Privacy Policy is in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act (hereinafter PDA) and regulations given under the provisions of the PDA. Symphonical is not responsible for the privacy practices of or the content on linked websites.

Purpose of processing

Symphonical only processes personal data for purposes that are objectively justified by the services provided by us. Thus, your personal data is only processed for the purposes of connecting users in social networks, running, debugging, maintenance and/or optimization of our service and/or to maintain customer relationship.

Symphonical collects visitors' IP addresses to help diagnose problems with servers, to administer websites, and for statistical purposes (aggregated).

Opt out

You may opt out of receiving future mailings and communications from Symphonical and its partners. You can do this by sending an e-mail to list-admin@symphonical.com or visiting the following URL: lists.symphonical.com.

Deletion of personal data

Symphonical deletes personal data when the purpose of the processing are fulfilled.

Access

Symphonical has strict restriction on access to your personal data processed by us. Only a limited number of our employees have access, on a need-to-know basis.

Transfer of information and personal data

Symphonical cooperates with partners. Partners established in the USA have entered into the Safe Harbor-agreement, which entail that they must ensure an adequate standard for privacy protection. Norwegian companies must comply with applicable Norwegian laws and regulations.

We do not control and thus take no responsibility for the privacy and security practices and policies of these third parties and their sites. It is the responsibility of the user to use caution before sharing personal data via forms and other methods used by third parties and their websites. Modification, rectification, erasure or blocking of personal data

You may at any given time modify, change or delete your Personal Profile data, Financial Information (credit card etc) provided to Symphonical and personal identifiable data provided to Customer Support, Contests and Surveys. Security

Symphonical strictly protects the security of personal data within the Symphonical domain, and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect users' data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction in accordance with the Norwegian PDA. We protect user data from disclosure, with exception only in matters where designated by law or court order. All Symphonical users should also handle their and other person's personal data with care.

Children's privacy and data protection

Symphonical provides interactive environments on the Internet to enable our members to express themselves and share information by creating and participating in virtual communities (arenas). Symphonical can not guarantee that children will not enter these sites and present contact information both online and offline without parental consent or notification. Further, we can not guarantee that children will not post such information in a public forum. Therefore, we encourage children to include their parents in the registration process, and we encourage parents to read this Privacy Policy before allowing their children on line.

Compliance and updates

Our Privacy Policy is reviewed regularly to ensure compliance. Any non conformance will be corrected without unnecessary delay.
